Injured Minnesota Vikings wide receiver Justin Jefferson posted photographs of himself and chart-topping rapper Lil Uzi Vert, where he appeared to give the musical artist a signed jersey.
Uzi Vert was kicking off their tour for their latest album the ‘Pink Tape’ with a sold out show in Minneapolis, Minnesota on Friday October 21, which Jefferson clearly attended with VIP access.
Jefferson posted pictures of himself autographing the jersey to Uzi, as well as the Philadelphia-born rapper smiling and posing with the one-of-kind gift.
The 24-year-old receiver is currently out for several weeks due to a hamstring injury he suffered against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Jefferson’s injury was one of several this year that led the NFL to make the artificial turf used in fields one of the major talking points at the owners’ meetings.

The three-time Pro Bowler slipped on the artificial surface at the U.S. Bank Stadium while running a route against Chiefs cornerback Trent McDuffie.
Jefferson’s injury in fact caused him to miss the first games of professional career since he was drafted with the No. 22 overall pick in the 2020 NFL Draft.
Before being injured this season he was once again the focal point of the Vikings offense and had recorded 36 receptions, 571 yards, and three touchdowns.
The recent run-in with Jefferson is not Uzi Vert’s only exposure to the NFL world as of late.
Last season the Philadelphia Eagles changed their unofficial anthem to Uzi Vert’s song ‘Just Wanna Rock’ and made it the walkout song for players before games kicked off.
Before the change, the Eagles had been using the song ‘Dreams and Nightmares’ by fellow Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill.
