AC Milan leapfrogged Inter into the top spot, for the time being, after beating Venezia 3-0 at the Pier Luigi Penzo Stadium. 

The visitors started on the front foot and took the lead after just two minutes when Zlatan Ibrahimovic tapped home Rafael Leao low cross. 

Theo Hernandez doubled Milan’s lead with a thumping strike past Venezia goalkeeper Sergio Romero three minutes after the interval. The left-back got his second of the day from the penalty spot after his shot from close-range struck a defender’s arm.
