Urgent recall issued on adapter used with a baby swing sold at Target over fears it can cause ELECTRIC SHOCKS

An urgent recall has been issued for a baby swing sold at Target stores across Australia over fears the adapter could cause electric shocks.

The plug in adapter for the Fisher Price Dots and Spots Puppy Deluxe Swing was recalled on Monday due to the risk of causing an electric shock.

Product Safety Australia warned the swing included an overseas plug-in adapter and could cause an electric shock if used with an incompatible power source.

The adapter marked ‘SKU GVF83’ is being recalled only with consumers advised to stop using the item immediately.

Other Mattel/Fisher-Price products are not affected by this recall.
