Una Healy reveals she felt ‘pressured’ into a relationship after her divorce… as she moves on from being ‘hoodwinked’ into David Haye throuple

Una Healey has revealed she put ‘pressure’ on herself to find love after her divorce from Ben Foden.

After splitting from her cheating ex in 2018, the Saturdays singer, 42, began dating Limerick hurler David Breen that year but split by February 2020.

The following year she struck up a relationship with an unnamed Dublin-based police officer that came to an end in May 2022.

The Saturdays singer then raised eyebrows last year when it was reported she was in a three-way relationship with David Haye, 43, and model Sian Osborne, 31 – fuelling the claims by posting a cosy snap of the trio on holiday in Morroco

Yet she went on to clarify that she was never part of a ‘throuple’, revealing the only person she was dating was David – although he was simultaneously dating Sian.

After calling an end to her ‘throuple’ she was said to be dating the voice of Love Island Australia – Stephen Mullen – in August but they split two months later.

Speaking about her complicated love life on the Boots UK presents Taboo Talk podcast this week, Una explained that she rushed into the romance, and should’ve taken time to enjoy being single.

The mother-of-two explained: ‘You do feel a pressure, maybe that’s why I dated so quickly and went into a relationship with someone after my divorce so fast.

‘I felt, “I need someone, I have to find someone,” and I didn’t at all!

‘That just never worked out anyway, for the best, but I did think there was a lot of pressure on me to find someone.’

Una, who shares children Aoife Belle, 11, and eight-year-old Tadgh with ex-husband Ben, continued: ‘Rather than enjoy being on my own and re-discovering myself and then maybe meeting someone organically out and about but I prevented that happening by getting into a relationship so soon.’

Admitting she was straight onto Raya, an exclusive dating app used by many celebrities, influencers and socialites, she went on to say of one suitor: ‘We were so uncompatible. It was like chalk and cheese!’

It is understood that David and Sian, who started dating in 2020, drafted Una into a three-way romance.

But Una put an end to the unconventional relationship after ‘growing tired of the negative attention’ it generated.

In March she announced that she was single and focusing on parenthood.

She told The Irish Mirror: ‘I am single and raising my two children, just like many other single parents – both men and women – doing a great job.’

Una released the song Walk Away in June 2023, which was about her situation with the long-term couple.

Promoting the song on Vogue Williams and Joanne McNally’s My Therapist Ghosted Me podcast, Una spoke of how she was after a monogamous relationship with David, but was instead left feeling ‘hoodwinked.’

Una explained: ‘Dating HIM is the right term because that’s how it was, it wasn’t a throuple. We had a lovely relationship.’

As Joanne quipped, ‘you were hoodwinked into a throuple’, Una agreed: ‘I was!’

Sian followed up by posting a series of snaps of the three, dated November 2022, with the comment: ‘Hoodwink: verb to deceive or trick someone.

‘A liar weaves a tangled web, trapping themselves in a labyrinth of deceit.

‘When we embrace truth, we align ourselves with the harmonious order of the universe.’

David’s ‘throuple’ pal Mica Jova also hit out at Una for ‘trying to put a bad light’ on the boxer and his girlfriend.

DJ Mica met the former boxing champion and Sian when she was on holiday in Costa Rita and said she had ‘such a good time’ with them.

Opening up about the unconventional relationship, she insisted she doesn’t ‘regret anything’ as she spoke about the social media snaps of the trio together.

In an exclusive interview with MailOnline, Mica, 28, also slammed Irish singer Una for speaking out against them.

She said: ‘David is one of the most gorgeous souls out there and Sian is a sweetheart. They are such good people so I really don’t understand why Una Healy is trying to put a bad light on those two.

‘They were treating everyone right while I was with them, and they were so gentle, so they don’t deserve this.

‘They were two of the most gorgeous souls I have ever met and they are very cool people. I don’t regret anything in my life.

‘I had such a good time and I feel very grateful to have met them and to have them in my life.’

Before meeting Mica, David had previously jetted to Morocco with Una and Sian to celebrate New Years’ Eve.

But, in a series of interviews, Una later described the experience as the ‘worst six months of my life’.

Sian responded to Una’s claims by posting a series of photographs of the three of them on Instagram with Fleetwood Mac’s ‘Little Lies’ song playing in the background.

She captioned the post: ‘The Truth Will Set You Free…’

Speaking from her home in Vienna, Austria, Mica also questioned the timing of Una’s account.

She pointed out that the singer gave the interviews just weeks before her new Walk Away single, about a break-up, came out in June.

Mica said: ‘I totally understand people who need the attention of the media when they release a song or something.

‘But I don’t want to push my career by making statements and using a famous person to promote it.

‘David Haye’s fans – mostly men – have come up to me at events to ask about what happened. But I didn’t say anything, or admit anything, other than saying it was fun.

‘I didn’t say anything because I respect him and I respect Sian and, if they are not going to say anything, then neither am I.’

David stunned his 549,000 Instagram followers when he posted a series of photos of his bikini-clad girlfriend Sian, 32, with new pal Mica on a beach in Costa Rica back in April.

The caption he posted alongside the snaps was interpreted as hailing a second so-called ‘throuple,’ or three person romance, after the previous one with Saturday’s star Una collapsed in acrimony.

The boxer wrote: ‘In the opening chapter of 2023, I have immersed myself fully in the richness of each passing moment.

‘I have found myself in the company of open-hearted individuals who perceive me through the lens of my daily actions, rather than the societal expectations foisted on a man of 42.’

Insisting that she had not wanted Sian to join them on the trip to North Africa, Una said: ‘He told me he was single. He said that he just broke up with his girlfriend.

‘We’re a similar age, both divorced and he’s got kids as well. I knew that he wasn’t going to be husband material, but I thought, “I’ve been single for a while and I just want to have a bit of fun”.’

David has since hinted he is in a new throuple by posting a series of pictures of his girlfriend and a glamorous Italian model called Danielle, who they apparently met on a dating app

Una continued: ‘I wasn’t looking for a husband.’He told me straight out that he doesn’t believe that the traditional relationship exists any more. They were exactly his words, and I was like, ‘OK, good luck with that’.’

We previously revealed that fitness and travel blogger Mica is a former twerk instructor whose full name is Michaela Jovanovic and who hails from a family of Serbian migrants living in Austria.

Mica said she met David and Sian through mutual friends as she holidayed in Santa Teresa on Costa Rica’s west coast just before the Easter holidays.
