A woman has been charged after allegedly attempting to poison a two-year-old girl twice.
The toddler was allegedly poisoned at a Umina Beach home, on the NSW Central Coast, in August and September 2020.
She was admitted to the Children’s Hospital at Westmead, in western Sydney, following the suspected poisoning both times.

Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad detectives launched an investigation into the incidents.
Police then arrested a 28-year-old woman on July 28, 2021.
They took her to Gosford Police Station where she was charged with attempted murder, and use poison to endanger life.
She fronted Gosford Local Court before she was refused bail. She will reappear at court on Friday.
The Child Abuse and Sex Crimes Squad was set up for detectives to investigate incidents against children and adults, including sexual assault, serious physical abuse, and extreme cases of neglect.
