Donald Trump has once again found himself at odds with author Michael Wolff, whose latest book, All or Nothing: How Trump Recaptured America, has sparked controversy with its bombshell claims. Trump took to Truth Social to dismiss the book as a “total FAKE JOB,” accusing Wolff of fabricating stories and falsely portraying events surrounding his 2024 campaign.

Trump vs. Wolff: A Familiar Feud

Wolff, best known for Fire and Fury, his 2018 exposé on the Trump White House, has built a career on documenting the inner workings of Trump’s administration. His latest work alleges that Trump made profane remarks about tech billionaire Elon Musk, questioned his behavior at a rally, and engaged in unfounded conspiracy theories about Michelle Obama.

Among the more sensational passages in the book, Wolff claims Trump saw Musk energetically celebrating at a rally in Pennsylvania and allegedly asked: “What the f** is wrong with this guy? And why doesn’t his shirt fit?”* The book also portrays tension between Trump and Musk, with insiders speculating that their alliance may not last.

Trump’s Response: A Scathing Denial

In a fiery post on Truth Social, Trump refuted Wolff’s claims, asserting that he never engaged with the author and that no credible sources contributed to the book.

So-called “Author” Michael Wolff’s new book is a total FAKE JOB, just like the other JUNK he wrote. He called me many times trying to set up a meeting, but I never called him back because I didn’t want to give him the credibility of an interview. Others in the Administration were also called, they reported his calls, and likewise, did not talk to him. I assume, however, he was able to speak to a small number of people, but not meaningfully. His other books about me have been discredited, as this one will be also. I am one who believes in commenting about FAKE NEWS, or made up stories, even if you have to “punch low,” and shouldn’t be wasting the time required to do so. We had one of the Greatest Elections in History, and perhaps the Greatest First Month EVER, according to almost everybody, but Wolff doesn’t want to talk about that. He mentions the people that surrounded me during the Election, and in many cases now, in derogatory terms, but they couldn’t have been that bad because here I am in the White House, refusing to take his calls. Wolff says he has sources, but he doesn’t have them, it’s a LIE, as is the case with many so-called “journalists.” If he has sources, let them be revealed. Watch, it will never happen. He is FAKE NEWS, a total LOSER, and no one should waste their time or money in buying this boring and obviously fictitious book!

“So-called ‘Author’ Michael Wolff’s new book is a total FAKE JOB, just like the other JUNK he wrote,” Trump wrote. “He called me many times trying to set up a meeting, but I never called him back because I didn’t want to give him the credibility of an interview.”

Trump further alleged that any sources cited by Wolff were fictitious or unreliable, challenging him to reveal them: “Watch, it will never happen. He is FAKE NEWS, a total LOSER, and no one should waste their time or money on this boring and obviously fictitious book!”

Controversial Allegations: Musk, Michelle Obama, and O.J. Simpson

Beyond the reported comments about Musk, the book makes several other claims, including Trump’s supposed fascination with conspiracy theories about Michelle Obama’s gender. Wolff asserts that Trump referred to the former First Lady as “Mike” and suggested that people would mock her physical appearance if she ran for office.

Additionally, the book claims Trump had a strange admiration for O.J. Simpson’s legal team, while simultaneously berating his own lawyers. According to Wolff, Trump lashed out at his attorneys during his hush-money trial, reportedly asking: “How could you lose that? You were terrible. Now I get stuck with you.”

The Broader Impact

The release of Wolff’s book is just the latest episode in the ongoing media storm surrounding Trump. While his supporters dismiss it as yet another attempt to tarnish his legacy, critics see it as further evidence of the chaos that has defined his political career.

As the 2024 election cycle heats up, the book’s impact remains to be seen. Will it influence public opinion, or will it simply become another chapter in the never-ending saga of Trump versus the media? One thing is certain—Trump isn’t staying silent.
