With just two more shopping days until Christmas ahead, Premier League clubs are busy making a list and checking it twice as they prepare for the imminent opening of the January transfer window. 

The month is set to be a packed out, as a legion of top-flight sides seek to battle their unsteady form or myriad injury crises in the market. 

Chelsea could yet be disappointed in their hunt for a striker with the news that long-term target Victor Osimhen is set to sign a new contract at Napoli. 

And Man United have had to switch focus after their target Serhou Guirassy has set his sights on a move to Tottenham.
