Timothée Chalamet turns heads in a backless scarlet red jumpsuit at Bones and All premiere


Timothée Chalamet made sure all eyes were on him as he attended the premiere of his new cannibal romance film, Bones and All, at the Venice Film Festival on Friday. 

The 26-year-old French-American star turned heads in a statement red jumpsuit, which featured a daring backless design. 

Chalamet pulled off the edgy look with a pair of stylish designer sunglasses and raced down the red carpet to greet fans and his co-stars.

His outfit featured tailed high-waisted trousers and a cowl-neck top and he teamed the look with a pair of black leather boots. 

Chalamet wore his dark locks out in curls and light makeup. 

He appeared in high spirits on the day, meeting up with co-star Taylor Russell, 28, on the red carpet who stunned in an emerald green frock.

Attracting the biggest stars, the film festival is held annually on the island of the Lido in the Venice Lagoon.

Movie screenings are taking place in the historic Palazzo del Cinema on the Lungomare Marconi.

This year’s line up will see divisive biopic Blonde, starring Ana De Armas as tragic screen icon Marilyn Monroe, battle it out for the competition’s top accolade.

Brendan Fraser’s moving drama The Whale, where he plays an obese professor, will also compete alongside films starring Cate Blanchett, Hugh Jackman and Colin Farrell.

The coming-of-age horror flick is set in the eighties as Lee’s Chevy truck with Indiana plates has bumper stickers for Reagan/Bush 1984 and one that reads: ‘My wife, yes. My dog, maybe. My gun, never.’

The mysterious trailer – filled with the sounds of women screaming – only shows one glimpse of Maren with blood on her face while squatting inside a bathroom.

There are also flashes of the couple running in a hospital, a scared shirtless man in overalls running, and Lee looking startled while behind the wheel.

Bones and All – hitting US theaters November 23 – is based on Camille DeAngelis’ 2015 novel and it features Mark Rylance, Chloë Sevigny, David Gordon Green, and Francesca Scorsese.
