Tiffany sends out a heartfelt apology to her fans just days after lashing out at fans


Tiffany is apologizing to her fans after an unfortunate incident on Sunday where she lashed out at her fans after losing her voice during her 1980s hit I Think We’re Alone Now.

The 50-year-old singer (full name Tiffany Renee Darwish) was performing in Melbourne, Florida on Sunday, when her voice started cracking and missing lyrics, at one point telling fans, ‘F** you.’

The singer took to Instagram on Wednesday to issue a video apology, and also to reveal she can still sing the song properly.

The video began with Tiffany singing the first few lines of the I Think We’re Alone Now chorus, before asking, ‘Hey guys, can we chat?’

‘I am so sorry. I panicked. It’s not often that I lose my voice and I got up there and just absolutely had a panic attack, a meltdown,’ the singer said.

‘And out of my frustration, I said things that I don’t mean, at all. I love you guys very, very much, ‘she added.

She also thanked her fans who have, ‘shown concern and given me love,’ adding she was ‘horrified’ for the past few days because she has, ‘not been in that situation.’

‘I pride myself in being able to come and bring it to my shows and I love being with you guys and I had no clue I had a vocal problem,’ she added.

She clarified that she is ‘not sick’ but when she got up on stage in Florida a few days ago, ‘it just wasn’t there and it literally freaked me out.’ 

She added that she ‘couldn’t hang’ and added she’s, ‘so sorry’ again while also thanking everybody who was at the show.

‘I love you guys and I’m sorry for any off-color things that I said. It’s definitely not the norm for me,’ she added.

‘I just had no clue my voice wasn’t gonna show up that day until I was in the very moment, so I apologize an I love you guys, Happy Thanksgiving and I love you,’ Tiffany concluded.
