Ana Navarro had a visit from the police after she threw a ‘raucous’ house party in Miami last week – and now the View regular has admitted she has been doing ‘way too much partying’.
Ana, 51, posted a gym selfie and joked that her legs felt like ‘overcooked pasta’ as she waved goodbye to her recent hedonistic spell and attempted to resume her health and fitness regime.
Dressed in a gray T-shirt and with her hair pulled back, the TV star captioned the image: ‘I’d fallen waaaay off the wagon. Like the wagon ran over me and just kept going, kind of falling off.
‘Way too much travel and partying. But I climbed back on today. Barely. My legs feel like overcooked pasta, right now. I’m gonna go lay down with my dog for a bit. That’s all. Oh and I guess I should have started with “good morning, peeps!”‘

Ana threw a ‘raucous’ party at her Miami home for singer Carlos Vives last week – and the cops were called
Encouragement was forthcoming from her 739,000 followers who were quick to tell her she was ‘amazing’ and that getting ‘back on’ is ‘all that matters’.
One fan wrote: ‘One of the reasons we love you so much… always keeping it real!’
Another told her she looks ‘beautiful’, adding ‘you got this’, while a third told her: ‘Getting back on is all that matters!!’
A fourth person said: ‘You look beautiful… The important part is not off the wagon, the important part is getting back on.’
Ana’s Wednesday workout comes after she admitted to The View’s executive producer Brian Teta that the police attempted to shut down her recent garden party.
The political strategist revealed that she threw an epic get together to celebrate Colombian singer Carlos Vives’ 30 years in the music industry, with singer Gloria Estefan among the guests.
She told The View’s Behind the Table podcast: ‘I threw a dinner in [Carlos’] honor, and we had music, and it was in my backyard. What happens when you’ve got all these people who can sing? They all start singing, and we had loudspeakers. It was a full-fledged concert.’
The festivities hit a roadblock when the police arrived – but, keen to continue the party, Ana admitted to tempting an officer with a drink.
‘I offered the cop a cocktail. He declined,’ she said. ‘And then I said to him, “Listen, I’m sorry. Take me to jail, but I’m not about to shut down a party with Carlos Vivas…and all these people”.’
A second officer then turned up and forced Ana to reduce the noise.

‘So, the party continues, and then a second cop showed up about an hour later, so then at some point, we moved the party into the house, and it went on for a while longer. The last people left around two in the morning,’ she said.
Ana gave fans a glimpse of the epic party when she shared some photos on Instagram, as well as a video that showed 66-year-old Gloria dancing on the patio.
The View panelist posted an exterior shot of the stunning home she shares with her husband of four years, Al Cárdenas, and their pet pooch ChaCha as she told her fans: ‘Throwing a good party doesn’t have to be expensive.’
Ana clearly knows how to have a good time and ensured that her guests were treated to good food, good music, and no doubt plenty of cocktails.
The TV star has made no secret of the fact that she enjoys a margarita from time-to-time, but has also spoken out about her recent weight loss journey and some lifestyle changes she made in order to shed some pounds.
Ana, who was involved with 2008 presidential campaign of late Sen. John McCain, told her followers in June that she has ‘struggled with my weight my entire life,’ adding that ‘the pandemic and menopause made it worse’.
She previously said that her mother’s 2021 death as result of kidney disease brought on by diabetes, spurred her to get proactive in her quest for better health.
‘Last August, I went to a wellness spa in Mexico called @rancholapuerta with two of my friends since grade school,’ she said earlier this year.

‘We had all turned 50 and wanted to be healthier. I spent time there learning to cook and eat healthier, reprogramming the way I think of my lifestyle, and being more active. We did all sorts of exercise classes for hours a day.’
Ana explained that when she and her friends returned to Miami, they ‘were determined to continue some of our healthy habits’ and confirmed that she ‘also sought professional help’ in the form of a nutritionist, Pilates coach, pickleball coach and medical supervision.
In the Instagram comment, she admitted: ‘It’s been a complete lifestyle change – except for the damn rosé and margaritas, which I can’t give up. It is a daily struggle for me. I still really like tequila and staying in bed with my poodle.’
