The View co-hosts had fun simultaneously celebrating Halloween and Disney’s 100th anniversary on Tuesday.
For the group’s annual festive episode, Whoopi Goldberg, Sara Haines, Ana Navarro, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Alyssa Farah Griffin each dressed up as their favorite characters from the legacy company.
The show’s executive producer, Brian Teta, told People, ‘The Halloween show is a treasured View tradition since the show began and it means a lot to our audience.’
The statement continued, ‘It’s an incredible amount of work but with everything going on in the world it’s so important to take a minute and have a little fun — not to mention showcase the incredible talent of our View Crew.’
Some of the hosts even jetted off to Florida ‘to enjoy the Magic Kingdom with a trip to Disney World.’

Doll: Whoopi wore blue as she portrayed Tour Guide Barbie
Whoopi, 67, wore blue as she portrayed Tour Guide Barbie.
Senior producer Jamie Hammer told People about the work put into bringing the characters to life.
‘We’ve always said that Halloween shows don’t work unless the women are into the costume, and no one is that clearer example of that than Whoopi,’ she dished.
It was added: ‘We typically come with suggestions of a bunch of potential characters that we feel are tied to the person, but they can choose whatever they want. And this year, Whoopi was supposed to be The Mandalorian until she came to us and was like, “I want to be Barbie.”‘
Hammer also spilled, ‘We searched through [the movie] Toy Story and found that there was Barbie in Disney, and there was Tour Guide Barbie! So it ended up working out. And Whoopi looked amazing. She was wearing 40 pounds of hair, and carried it effortlessly.’
Meanwhile, Alyssa, 34, channeled Jasmine from the movie Aladdin.
‘So I chose Princess Jasmine because it was one of my favorite films growing up. I dressed up as so many different versions of Jasmine, I did a pink costume, I did the original blue,’ she explained.
The former White House aide added: ‘She’s the first Arab Disney Princess, I’m Lebanese and Syrian so I loved that.’

For her part, Sarah, 46, was unrecognizable as Carl from the movie Up.
Jamie said about her costume selection: ‘Sara, in particular, likes to be transformative. She loves Halloween.
‘So we actually pitched Carl from Up to Sara, amongst others, and that was the one that she picked. She loves the narrative of the film, she loves the character; it’s something that her kids knew.’
Haines summarized, ‘So she was like, “I want to be Carl. That’s it. I want to be Carl.” And I was like, “Well… there’s prosthetics and this and that.” And she was like, “I’m all in. Done!”‘
In all, her transformation took more than two hours for to fully come together.
There was also Navarro, 51, who wore two different outfits as both Mirabel and Isabella Madrigal from Encanto.
‘Ana has been such a huge supporter of Encanto from the beginning,’ Hammer shared. ‘She’s friends with Lin-Manuel Miranda, she’s friends with John Leguizamo — we felt like that’s probably where she was going to go, and we were right.’
Sunny, 55, went all out as she appeared as an iteration of Neytiri from Avatar.
Director Sarah de la O told the magazine, ‘Her costume was obviously super amazing, The show team really elevated it to a new level with her look, I think.’

Antagonist: Joy, 81, joined the fun dressed as Cruella de Vil from Cruella
And Hammer added, ‘Sunny’s a lot like Sara in that know that we can always do something really fun and creative. And it allows hair and makeup to really be creative and do their thing, too.’
Last but not least, Joy, 81, joined the fun dressed as Cruella de Vil from Cruella.
‘We [had] a lot of fun with Joy in one segment where we brought her, Ana and Whoopi to Disney Treasure, a new cruise that’s coming out,’ Hammer explained.
‘They have this parlor where you’ll be able to interact with ghosts. And if you watch the show, you’ll know that Joy has had some experiences with ghosts before. So if you get the reference, you’ll get the joke.’
