When asked for identification, he reportedly became agitated, further alarming the crew.
Among the courageous individuals who stepped up to neutralize the threat was Barry Clark, a farmer and shearer from Moama, NSW. Clark sprang into action after spotting the teenager’s alleged weapons, tackling him to the ground and putting him in a headlock. One of the passengers, Daniel Defino, managed to capture the chilling confrontation on his phone. He later described the teenager as eerily emotionless. “He was dead silent, there was no emotion in his eyes at all. He looked almost fake—it was so scary,” Defino told 7News.
