The Bachelor’s Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston share a kiss as they tie the knot at an intimate ceremony inside the pilot’s family home

The Bachelor’s Jimmy Nicholson and Holly Kingston tied the knot in a romantic ceremony on Saturday.

The couple, who met on season nine of the Channel 10 series in 2021, wed at Jimmy’s parents home in Sydney’s Palm Beach.

Blushing bride Holly looked overjoyed with a big smile on her face before going in for a passionate kiss with her new husband.

She wore a simple and elegant white dress, which matched Jimmy’s white tuxedo jacket.

The blonde beauty wore her blonde locks in a neat bun with loose tendrils around her face.

Holly wore a flowing veil, and opted for a soft makeup look with rosy blush and nude lipstick.

Jimmy looked dapper in his white blazer along with black trousers, and could not keep his hands off his new wife.

Speaking to Daily Mail Australia ahead of the ceremony, Jimmy said that they never intended to have an extravagant wedding.

‘We said we didn’t want to be lavish and over-the-top but it seems like it’s going to be if we’re basing that on the receipts we paid for it,’ he said.

‘We kept everything under wraps. When it came to flowers, we were like, ‘We don’t care. We just don’t like the idea of spending all this money on flowers and they get thrown out the next day.’

‘So, what we’re doing is, we’re going to get the flowers the next day and take them to a nursing home’ he went on.

‘It’s repurposing something. Because I would just hate to spend money on something that just gets thrown out.

‘We’re not doing anything over-the-top, but it’ll be a really nice ceremony for everyone,’ he added.

The couple will next head to Europe for the summer to celebrate their honeymoon together.

‘We’re gone for four weeks, and we’re looking forward to just being able to turn our phones off for a little bit.

‘We’re going to make sure we take the time out just to chill,’ he explained.

‘So, we’ve been madly booking restaurants. It’s all about the food for us. We’re just travelling by our stomachs’ Jimmy went on.

‘The whole thing is going to be amazing… We’ve picked some pretty cool places. We’re going to hire a car and drive through Tuscany as well,’ he gushed.

The twosome have been engaged since last September, after Jimmy popped the question during a romantic Italian vacation.

He got down on one knee on the balcony at Hotel Lorelei Londres in Sorrento, Italy, after leading his love to the location via a series of clues.

Holly is said to have wept with joy as she accepted the proposal.

Jimmy had planned the proposal for several months, buying a diamond ring from Sydney’s Cerrone jewellers and asking Holly’s parents for their permission.

‘It was important to ask both her mum and dad for permission,’ he told Stellar magazine.

The couple hope to start a family soon after.

The pair moved into an apartment together in North Bondi in September 2021, shortly after The Bachelor finale aired on TV.
