It’s not long now until the nation’s favourite show Strictly Come Dancing is back on our screens and the celebrity dancers are deep in rehearsals as they commit their all to ensure they wow on the dancefloor.
However the long training days aren’t easy and this year’s line up are already suffering from a string of injuries as they prepare for the live shows.
Four of the celebrities have already experienced a gruesome injury or painful strain, starting with actress Amanda Abbington who uploaded a gruesome snap of her injury.
The Mr Selfridge star shared a picture of her foot to Instagram as she displayed her huge purple blood blister which spread across the ball of her foot.
The star captioned the post: ‘Blood blister… So… dancing in heels, when you absolutely aren’t a dancer, is clearly a blister minefield but, moreover, very much a young man’s game… however, onwards.’

However Amanda wasn’t deterred from the rehearsal room as she continued: ‘Back tomorrow for more shenanigans!’
Empathising with her fellow contestant, Love Island star Zara McDermott commented: ‘Same here … I’ll rub your feet you rub mine?’
Meanwhile previous Strictly star, former Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote wrote ‘Omg I just had a flashback’ and Kimberley Wyatt chimed: ‘Yassss!!!! Look at those dancing feet’.
Zara’s feet are also apparently not looking their best after she suffered a bloody toe during a training session.
Elsewhere EastEnders star Bobby Brazier has been working intensely with a physio as he stretched out in preparation for the demanding routines.
The actor shared a video of him lying on a massage table, holding both his ankles in a crossed-leg position.
As the physio instructed the actor to pull his legs in towards him he failed to suppress his giggles as he felt the stretch deepen.
Seemingly enjoying himself the star captioned the clip ‘Me and this lady are going to be great friends, soooo needed’.

Fellow soap star Adam Thomas also hasn’t found training easy after her revealed her was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis just days after being announced as a dancer on the show.
The Waterloo Road actor opened up on Instagram last month as he celebrated his 35th birthday.
The star wrote: ‘As much as I act like a kid, my body is telling another story…
‘I’ve been in a lot of pain since January, it started with my knees and then travelled to my wrists, fingers and now ankles and toes. I never knew what was happening and finally after several blood tests and back and forth to doctors and hospitals, I’ve been diagnosed with rheumatoid Arthritis!
‘I thought that was something people, later on in there life get… but that’s not the case, clearly!
He explained: ‘The reason I signed up to strictly is because I just want to be able to move again, get fit and do it, all with a smile on my face!
‘It really couldn’t have come at a better time I’m a firm believer of everything happening for a reason, and I know the journey I’ve been on was meant to happen, to never take small things in life for granted! …Like going for a run, playing with my kids and just being able to walk with no pain!
‘I know it’s going to be tough and I’ve definitely got my work cut out but am up for the challenge and can not wait to get on that dance floor!!’

The star gave fans an update on the condition as she showed off his muscular frame in a post earlier this week.
He wrote: ‘A very rare sight … me with my top off!
‘But I need to get comfortable feeling uncomfortable! Am not in the best shape of my life but, I could be worse.
‘This year has been tough there’s no doubt about that… but I’ve just got to stay focused now! I’m still struggling and the pain is still there but I’m putting on a brave face I’ve got to stay strong!!’
The star revealed he has taken up swimming to help him with his arthritis and is also helping him overcome his body issues.
‘Swimming helps me so much with my arthritis, I mean as much as it kills me getting my top off and going for a swim, I know it’s helping me and I know it’s also helping me deal with the issues I’ve got with me and my body. Which is a good thing!
‘Got a feeling am going to get a lot more out of the next few months than I bargained for l!! Let’s go’.
