Singer Jason Derulo did the haka while on stage in New Zealand this week.
The Talk Dirty hitmaker, 34, thrilled fans in footage from his concert which was shared to TikTok on Friday.
Jason strolled among the stage of dancers, including the LES Twins, who all participated in the traditional performance.
As the American singer strolled around the dancers, he walked up to the stage to perform, only to then stick his tongue out with the other performers.
In the haka, which is a ceremonial dance performed in Māori culture, sticking out the tongue is a way a way to ward off evil spirits and protect oneself during battle.
Jason went on to perform the hit, Breathing, to the largely adoring crowd.
The show comes amid allegations of sexual harassment by Emaza Gibson, an aspiring singer who was signed to his label.
Jason called the claims ‘false and hurtful’ via Instagram in October.
‘I stand against all forms of harassment and I remain supportive of anybody following their dreams. I’ve always strived to live my life in a positively impactful way, and that’s why I sit here before you deeply offended, by these defamatory claims. God bless,’ the In My Head singer said.

Gibson, now 25, said she was thrilled when the ‘Whatcha Say’ singer promised her a record deal in 2021 – until it became apparent there were strings attached, according to suit filed in Los Angeles County Court, seen by NBC.
‘I’m at this point in my life right now, it’s very heartbreaking,’ Gibson said in an interview with the network.
‘I have anxiety; I’m traumatized. I’ve dealt with inhumane work situations. I’m at this point where I’m back to zero and I have nothing.’
Iowa-born Gibson alleges Derulo dropped from her record deal after she rejected his advances and refused to to go for drinks. She alleges that Derulo demanded ‘sex in exchange for success.’

In 2021, Derulo was in a long-term relationship with Jena Frumes, the mother of his young son. Their son, Jason King, was born in May of the same year.
They broke up just four months later in September – a month after Derulo approached Gibson, who was at the time in a girl group with her sisters named Ceraadi.
Frumes hit out at Derulo accusing him of cheating in the fallout from their breakup.
Gibson and her sisters moved to Los Angeles in 2008, and used their YouTube channel as a launching pad for their music which now has 1.25 million subscribers.
But the aspiring singer’s sisters fell out of love with the music industry while she kept going with dance videos in an attempt to launch a solo career.

Derulo’s request to start a joint venture, at the time with Ceraadi, his brand Future History, and Atlantic Records, came in August 2021.
According to her lawsuit, Gibson agreed to a deal which involved her producing a mixtape in four months and an album over half a year.
Gibson told NBC that in September – the month Derulo split with Frumes – she agreed to have a drink with the ‘Trumpets’ singer in the studio.
Her lawsuit claims she was plied with ‘inappropriately large amounts of alcohol’. Gibson took a sip before telling Derulo it was too strong.

At the time of his alleged inappropriate advances on Gibson, Derulo was dating Jena Frumes, the mother of his son. The couple welcomed a baby boy, named Jason King, on May 8, 2021
‘I told him that I wasn’t a drinker … so it’s like, you know, you’re not listening to that the first time I tell you, and you’re still pushing on me,’ Gibson said in the NBC interview. ‘It’s, like, pressure at this point.’
Derulo allegedly responded by telling Gibson she might have to embrace ‘goat skin and fish scales’ – which is slang for a strain of cocaine and rituals involving sex, according to the lawsuit.
The legal document says that combined with his alleged predatory behavior, Gibson considered this statement an ‘explicit demand for sex-in-exchange-for-success’.
By November 2021, Gibson said she had had enough of Derulo’s advances and told him she was not willing to betray her morals for success in the music industry.
‘I have anxiety; I’m traumatized. I’ve dealt with inhumane work situations. I’m at this point where I’m back to zero and I have nothing,’ Gibson said of her relationship with Derulo
In June this year, Gibson said she had ‘looked up to’ Derulo and was devastated by the way he allegedly treated her.
Speaking with Sports and Hip-Hop with DJ Mad Max about the ‘toxic work environment’ she said he created, Gibson explained: ‘It’s unfortunate.
‘I really looked up to him, I was a big fan of his music, you know, seeing a black man in the pop space, not doing the regular music like the rap…
‘But it is what it is. Imma talk my talk and we can always have a discussion.’
