Shopper falls multiple stories in Myer centre, Adelaide


Shoppers in shock after a person falls multiple storeys inside a busy mall

Emergency services have rushed to a busy city shopping centre after a shopper fell multiple storeys.

Police and paramedics closed the Myer centre in Rundle Mall, central Adelaide, following the incident.

All employees and customers have been evacuated from the centre and a cherry picker – platform crane – has been brought in to retrieve the person, the Adelaide Advertiser reports. 

The circumstances of the customer’s fall are still unknown but are not being treated as suspicious.
