Shawn Mendes was caught quietly doing a good deed Thursday. 

The singer, 25, who was spotted hanging out on the beach with Big Brother UK’s Charlie Travers, helped out a homeless man in West Hollywood. 

The Canadian crooner was seen approaching the shirtless man with a several pieces of clothing packed into an Erewhon bag. 

Among the items inside was a white zip jacket navy blue and green stripes which the recipient tried on.

The new jacket seemed to fit him well.

The new clothes will come in handy with temperatures in the greater Los Angeles area have been cooling down with highs in the low 70s and lows in the 40s and 50s.  

Shawn looked casual dressed in a pair of beige cargo pants and a black T-shirt, with brown shoes. 

The Wonder artist’s sideburns seemed to be sporting mutton chop sideburns as well as a mustache and goatee, perhaps for an upcoming movie role.

The Juno Award winner has a few projects which are currently listed as being in pre-production and in development in IMDB.

Now that the actors strike is tentatively over, The 100 guest star can get back to work soon, along with the 160,000 others who will vote on the new contract hammered out with the major Hollywood studios.

The sticking points in the four month walkout included higher compensation and protections from artificial intelligence.

One of Shawn’s upcoming projects will let him use his musical talents.

He will star in Do It Scared, a biopic about Father Rob Galea, a priest who became a singing sensation after becoming an X-Factor finalist.

The singer and songwriter released his first music since that announcement in June, a single title What the Hell are We Dying For?

‘I feel like over the last year and a bit, I’ve just been really struggling in the studio to find my voice and to find myself musically and to even have the courage just to be in the room with writers or step into the booth and sing,’ he told Zane Lowe on Apple Music 1 at the time. 

‘I was upstate New York and just on the back end of feeling a lot of things about relationships, about my career, about the environment,’ he explained.

‘I was in the studio and this moment of just deep frustration came over me and I finally started to feel this inspiration come.’
