The Columbian songstress, 46, cut a casual figure for the outing in a colour-blocked swim top which she teamed with shorts.
Shakira swept her blonde locks back from her beautiful face and shielded her eyes from the scorching sun behind dark shades.
She appeared in high spirits as she winched her surf board onto the vessel before sitting down and enjoying a chat with her companions.
The group sped through waves in a Mastercraft X24 which boasts numerous swanky features and retails for $233,100.

Shakira, single following her bitter separation from former FC Barcelona and Spain footballer Gerard Piqué last June, was seen accepting Lewis’ offer of a hand, as he helped her on board the boat last week.
They were accompanied on the cruise by heavily tattooed American fencer Miles Chamley-Watson, one of Hamilton’s closest friends.
Just hours earlier Shakira had turned heads while making her way into Miami’s Cipriani restaurant, where Grand Prix ace Hamilton was dining out with Chamley-Watson and an extended group of friends.
Footage from the night shows Formula One fan Shakira greeting the Mercedes driver, who acknowledges her with a smile as she is ushered past his table.
While the singer is understood to be single following her separation from Piqué, Hamilton has been romantically linked with Brazilian model Juliana Nalu.
The 24-year old – who previously dated rapper Kanye West – has already been seen at the Grand Prix Paddock in Miami and was understood to be with Hamilton at California’s Coachella Music and Arts Festival in May.
The outing comes after she reportedly ‘laughed off’ recent claims that Hollywood star Tom Cruise is interested in dating her.
The pair were seen in Miami this past weekend at the Formula 1 Grand Prix in Miami, where they posed for photos together.

An insider originally told Page Six that the actor, 60, ‘is extremely interested in pursuing’ Shakira as ‘there is chemistry’ between the pair.
But sources have since played down the claims, telling US Weekly: ‘Shakira had a great time hanging out with Tom at F1 but she has no interest in dating him.’
The South American songstress, whose full name is Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll, parted ways with longtime love Piqué last summer amid allegations he had cheated on her.
