Eddie Howe believes there is a high chance Sandro Tonali could be available to face Wolves on Saturday with Newcastle awaiting official confirmation of the midfielder’s 10-month ban.

Italian FA chief Gabriele Gravina confirmed an agreement had been reached for a 10-month ban, including eight months of therapy, on Thursday.

Howe revealed at a pre-match press conference that the Magpies are still yet to receive confirmation.

‘I think there’s a high chance he could be available for us. There has to be a few things that have to happen before the ban is imposed so let’s see.’
