The celebrity trainer behind Justin Bieber, Kendall Jenner and Rita Ora’s fitness regimes has revealed the secrets to their enviable physiques.
Noah Neiman, who created celebrity boxing hub ‘Rumble’, has spent almost two decades working with high-profile names.
Rumble is a 45-minute, 10-round, full-body cardio and strength workout crafted around specially designed teardrop-style boxing bags which are filled with water.
Rumble has more than 300 locations all over the world including Melbourne, Los Angeles and New York. The gym has just opened its doors to a new flagship in Sydney’s Bondi Beach.
Noah, 38, told FEMAIL the biggest mistake people make when it comes to dieting is taking an ‘all or nothing’ approach which creates more harm than good in the long run.

‘I have lived through may ideations of my life and my fitness,’ Noah told FEMAIL.
The gym owner admitted to focusing too much on counting calories and portion sizes several times throughout his life, and said the most important thing that kept him on track was changing his mindset.
‘That is where a lot of people go wrong, they take an all or nothing approach – “I must eat super clean 100 per cent, if I fail then it’s over for me and I’m just going to fall of the wagon”, when it’s really about finding balance.’
Noah follows the 80/20 rule when it comes to food because he believes eating is an ‘extension of the life he wants to live’ – and he doesn’t subscribe to diets such as Keto or Atkins.

A professional boxer’s top 3 tips for a beginner
‘You have to be bad at something, before you are good, and you have to be good at it, before you can be great’
‘Most people want to bypass the processes, they just want to start and be good, which is impossible’
‘If any skill worth building was that easy, everyone would be a classical pianist or incredible on the guitar or anything that takes discipline, repetition to get better at’

Jason Derulo (pictured) trainer revealed the secret behind the star’s rippling abs and stunning physique
‘Eighty per cent of my meals are super clean, lean cuts of meat, fish, potatoes, tonnes of protein, solid carbs, avocado oil, and good fatty acids,’ he said.
‘It’s really just about finding the balance that works for you and sticking to it.’
When it comes to exercise, Noah’s top tips are to focus on strength training – such as squats, lunges, push-ups, burpees – even when you only have 15 minutes in your day.
‘If I have 15 minutes to spare I would do exactly what we do at Rumble, no question about it: all the good stuff you are going to do on the strength training side to make your body strong and fit,’ he said.
The celebrity trainer believes boxing has risen in popularity because the activity is extremely empowering, rewarding, and cathartic.
‘We call it ‘knuckle therapy’ at Rumble,’ Noah revealed. ‘It’s one of the most primal instincts ingrained in our DNA.
‘It’s so empowering to stand tall, ball up your fists, and defend yourself.’

The studio’s Bondi Beach Director, Zdenko Martin, also said part of the reason celebrities loved Rumble was not only the tough work out but that every person in the room is treated the same
What is an 80/20 diet?
The 80/20 diet rule is a guide that suggests eating nutritious foods 80 per cent of the time and saving the other 20 per cent for a special treat.
It is a healthy, less-restrictive option when compared to other strict diets.
It is extremely hard and demotivating to follow a diet that bans any and all indulgences.
Denying yourself treats often can lead to overeating when you’re finally ‘allowed’ (i.e. on weekends) and throw off the rest of your hard work.

Noah struggled through several career paths including accounting before finally getting into the fitness industry, and his rags to riches story saw him build his business from the ground up.
Over 500 people showed up to his first gym in New York on its opening day in 2017.
‘I love that all of us got to work out and train together,’ Noah said.
‘The sense of community that makes you just feel like you’re a part of something bigger is so important.’

Noah’s childhood and early adulthood was filled with martial arts and boxing classes because of their grounding effect.
‘Growing up I had a lot of behavioural problems – ADHD and oppositional defiant disorder,’ he said.
‘I didn’t want to take medication but noticed that they always were elevated a little bit through how I treated my physical body.
‘I just found through the course of my life that strength training coupled with boxing was such an incredible workout for my mind, body and spirit that I had to open up a gym that embodied that ethos and those philosophies.’
