The replica of a ‘love chair’ which allowed Britain’s King Edward VII to have sex with two or more women has gone on sale in New Orleans just in time for Valentine’s Day.

The original ‘love chair’ was designed by Paris cabinetmaker Louis Soubrier to allow the corpulent king, who was known as ‘Dirty Bertie’ to have sex with two or more women simultaneously.

It allowed him to indulge his sexual fantasies without crushing his female partners.

The chair, which the playboy prince had custom-made, was delivered to his favorite Paris brothel, Le Chabanais, in 1890.

Given the more prudish times, it was easier for him to pop across the channel to Paris and indulge his passions at Le Chabanais.

The replica is available to buy from M.S. Rau Antiques in New Orleans for $68,000.

According to Fox Business, the antique store says the original chair is owned by one of Soubrier’s descendants and another replica is on display at the Museum of Sex in Prague.

Exactly how King Edward positioned himself and his ladies on the chair is somewhat of a mystery but it has prompted a lot of speculation on the internet.

As Queen Victoria’s eldest son and the Prince of Wales, Prince Albert Edward later became King Edward VII. He is the current Queen’s great grandfather.

He was king from January 1901 until his death in 1910.
