Radio host Brendan Fevola threatens Kyle Sandilands after on-air sledge

There’s a new radio war going on, this time between KIIS FM shock jock Kyle Sandilands and former AFL star turned FOX FM host Brendan Fevola.

On Tuesday and live on 101.9, Brendan, 40, hit back at Kyle after he took shots at his radio show Fifi, Fev and Nick and called it ‘terrible’.

Brendan didn’t mince his words and warned Kyle ‘to be careful,’ with their new feud all starting over Kyle’s appearance on The Masked Singer Australia.

Radio stars at war: Brendan Fevola hit back at rival Kyle Sandilands on his radio show on Tuesday and warned him ‘to be careful’ after an on-air tirade – after their feud started over his appearance on The Masked Singer

‘He’d want to be careful. You don’t want to get me angry, I’m a different beast to Hughesy,’ Brendan began, firing up.

‘Didn’t he say he wanted to put one on Hughesy’s chin back in the day? Geez, I hope he says that to me, if he says that to me, it’s on. Sandilands verse Fevola,’ he added.

After a producer informed him that Kyle took a sledge at his FOX FM show and called it ‘terrible’ and said that ‘no one cares about what goes on in Melbourne,’ Brendan again took shots at Kyle.

'Didn't he say he wanted to put one on Hughesy's chin back in the day? Geez, I hope he says that to me, if he says that to me, it's on. Sandilands verse Fevola,' he added

‘Mate, grow up, having a crack at our show… saying it’s a horrible show, we have a great show they [Kyle and Jackie] have a great show. I listen to their show all the time, no need to get personal,’ he said.

‘He’s a large man, I’m a large man, it’s not having a go at him, it’s the truth… he’s having a crack about our city,’ Brendan said, adding that Kyle ‘tries to put people down all the time’.

The beef started over Kyle’s appearance on The Masked Singer Australia.

Hughesy, Kyle’s former arch rival and The Masked Singer judge, was dragged into the tiff when a news article incorrectly reported that he said he didn’t think Kyle was in his suit for the performance during an interview on Brendan’s show.

However, it was really Brendan who made the comments about Kyle.

The 50-year-old shock jock was accused of ‘not even being inside the suit’ by Brendan on Monday.

‘I reckon that it wasn’t Kyle Sandilands performing, but when he took his head off it was him! Someone else was in that suit,’ Fev said.

Kyle, who is one of Australia’s most famous faces (and voices), dismissed the claim and insisted it was him performing.

‘It was definitely me (in the performance), there was no stand-in,’ Kyle said.

He did however admit it wasn’t him during the clue packages.

‘Look, whoever was in the suit during the (pre-filmed) clue packages, wasn’t me,’ he explained.

Kyle went on to say the hardest part of him being on the show was keeping it from radio co-star and The Masked Singer judge, Jackie ‘O’ Henderson.

The special celebrity guest was revealed to be the shock jock on Sunday night.
