Police are investigating the sudden death of a baby girl at a family home.
The infant died at a property in Alexandra near Mackay in Queensland on Sunday morning, according to police.
Officers were called to the address later that day and discovered her remains.
A Queensland Police spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia: ‘Investigations are ongoing and there is no further information available.’
