Police are called after Colorado football players allege their jewelry was STOLEN during defeat at UCLA

Several Colorado football players claim they had jewelry stolen during this weekend’s defeat at UCLA.

Deion Sanders’ team was beaten 28-16 at The Rose Bowl and later UCLA confirmed it had gone to the police after items were reportedly taken from the visitors’ locker room.

‘The UCLA athletic department confirmed that a report was filed to the Pasadena Police Department following the UCLA-Colorado football game regarding items that were reportedly missing from the Colorado locker room,’ a statement read.

‘UCLA is in communication with law enforcement, Rose Bowl Stadium officials and the University of Colorado on the matter.’

Footage from after the game shows angry players and staff discussing what had been taken from their bags.

‘They f****** broke into the locker room, bro,’ one person could be heard claiming.

‘During the game, they stole the chain… insane bro.’

Safety Cam’ron Simon-Craig said: ‘You go play football, better know your s*** is safe. it’s messed up… I put them in the locker room, I can’t put it in my bag?’

One player complained that he had his jewerly for only a day before it was stolen.

It’s not the first time that Sanders – known as Coach Prime – has been involved in a controversial incident of this nature.

Back in 2021 – while he was in charge at Jackson State – Sanders alleged that some of his possessions were stolen from his bag.

‘It was stolen but they got it back,’ he wrote at the time. ‘It was stolen out my personal bag in my office and my assistant caught the gentleman in the process of stealing it but she was alone.’
