Paul Bettany and Jennifer Connelly have PDA session through masks after Seth Rogen joked the actor ‘sneezed in his face’ while blasting the Emmys for not being COVID responsible
Paul Bettany took no chances when pictured with wife Jennifer Connelly as they both wore face masks while sharing a kiss at LAX airport on Monday.
Just the night before, Bettany was lampooned in Seth Rogen’s monologue at the Emmy Awards, that pointed out the lack of safety measures having a crowd of A-Listers crammed into a confined space.
‘This is insane,’ Rogen joked. ‘I went from wiping my groceries to having Paul Bettany sneeze in my face .. so, that’s a big week. If anyone’s gonna sneeze in my face, Paul, I want it to be you.’

However, it seems that Paul, 50, and his wife Jennifer, also 50, who have been married since 2003, were playing it safe for their outing.
The Hollywood power couple were dressed for a casual day of travelling, but took time to share a passionate kiss, despite wearing masks, as they made their way up an escalator.
The actor was nominated for Outstanding Lead Actor In a Limited Series or Television Movie for WandaVision, but he lost out to Ewan McGregor.

His Marvel limited series on Disney+ scored a total of 23 nominations, however, it was completely snubbed on the night, prompting an outcry from fans.
While the Emmys was technically considered as an ‘outdoor event,’ the ceremony took place inside an enclosed tent.
‘Good to be here at the Emmy Awards,’ Rogen added on the night. ‘Let me start by saying: there’s way too many of us in this little room. What are we doing? They said this was outdoors—it’s not! They lied to us.

‘We’re in a hermetically-sealed tent right now. I would not have come to this,’ Rogen said..
Rogen was laughing and smiling during his 76-second monologue, so it’s appears that he was joking, but videos and pictures showed there was a packed crowd for the Emmys.
After Rogen’s spiel and before the Emmys cut for commercial, Emmys DJ Reggie Watts clarified the record and said they’re following all health and safety guidelines, the USA Today reported.
Then host Cedric the Entertainer said, ‘It actually feels amazing in here unlike what Seth (Rogen) was talking about. It feels good. We’re all vaxxed. We had to get vaxxed to come here.’
