The New York Jets are expected to trade struggling quarterback Zach Wilson during the offseason after the team told him of its plans when he was benched amid woes earlier this season.

NFL Network’s Dianna Russini added that ‘this is part of the reason [Wilson] was reluctant to go back to starting weeks ago.’

In what will be their last game of the season on Sunday, the Jets will start veteran Trevor Siemian at quarterback over Wilson for the third consecutive week.
