MY FAVOURITE SHIRT – EFAN EKOKU: Norwich’s third jersey from 1993-94… I loved the colour but missed three great chances wearing it in Europe

  • The striker featured for the Canaries for a solitary season between 1993-94
  • Nigeria international later turned out for Sheffield Wednesday and Brentford
  • Chris Sutton is stunned by Ian Ladyman’s England Euro XI: It’s All Kicking Off

There was one we hardly wore actually when I was at Norwich. When we were in Europe we had a kit we played in at Vitesse Arnhem. I think we only wore in that game, but I loved that kit. I liked the colour.

We drew 0-0 and I missed three great chances so I should probably put that one to bed really, but the colour was nice.

I can tell you the worst kit – the one everyone remembers. It’s in a list of – I can’t say the word – ‘S … H …’ kits. The Norwich home kit from 1992-94. It just looked horrible.

His least favourite shirt is the one Norwich sported between 1992 and 1994 (pictured in 1993)
