Melissa Rivers has officially become engaged to Los Angeles-based attorney Steve Mitchel, according to Page Six.
The 55-year-old television personality and daughter of famed comedienne Joan Rivers was spotted wearing what appeared to be an engagement ring during BravoCon in Las Vegas this past weekend.
The romantic status of the actress, who said that it would not be ‘fair’ to adopt a child at her age, has since been confirmed, and a source revealed that her partner popped the question on a Mexican beach last month.
According to the insider, Rivers and Mitchel first met at an event on the topic of mental health.
The source stated that the attorney ‘had the guts to come up and talk to her and the rest is history.’

Details about the happy couple’s upcoming wedding have not been publicly revealed as of yet.
Rivers was formerly married to John Endicott, with whom she tied the knot in 1998.
The pair said their vows in a lavish wedding ceremony at the Plaza Hotel In New York that cost a reputed $3 million.
The bill for the event function was paid for by the actress’ famous mother, who passed away in 2014.
Rivers and Endicott went on to welcome a son named Edgar, 22, who arrived two years after they tied the knot.
