While Melanie may have been entertaining the crowds with her hit songs, her bandmate Mel B recently revealed that not everyone know is a big fan of their music.

Earlier in the day, the singer, 47, took to Instagram to share the funny moment her children mistook a classic Spice Girls hit by the band for a Lady Gaga song.

While getting ready to go see Hamilton in Melbourne, Australia, the pop performer quizzed her daughters Angel, 15, and Madison, 10, on some lyrics.

Uploading her Story, the star – looking glam as she applied her make-up in cheetah print pajamas – said: ‘So you just said “who do yo think you are”…and I said “some kind of superstar” and then you said “is it Lady Gaga singing that?”‘

Sitting on the floor and tying up her shoes, a confused Angel asked: ‘Is it Lady Gaga?’

When Mel said ‘no’, her children then guessed Adele.

As the group continued the lyrics to the 1997 hit – aptly titled Who Do You Think You Are – Angel steadfastly insisted the singer is indeed Lady Gaga.

However, after a few moments the teen then exclaimed: ‘It’s you! It’s the Spice Girls!’ as another voice in the room joked: ‘Only took us half the song.’

Sharing the family moment, Mel captioned the Story: ‘My kids have no clue when it comes to Spice Girls songs.’

In another snippet she wrote: ‘So Spice Girls may have sold over 100 million records but I think I need to buy one more for my kids.’
