Megan Barton-Hanson chatted with the Queen Consort as she attended a reception at Buckingham Palace to mark International Women’s Day on Wednesday.
The former Love Island star, 29, was seen smiling as she socialised with Camilla, 75, at the star-studded event, which was also attended by Sarah Lancashire.
Camilla, who is president of the Women of the World (WOW) Festival, hosted inspiring women including entertainers, athletes and authors at Buckingham Palace.
Megan is involved with this year’s WOW Festival and is set to speak on its opening day on Friday at a talk titled Feminist with Fillers? at The Clore Ballroom.
At Wednesday’s reception, Megan cut a stylish figure in a black long-sleeved bodycon dress as she chatted to Camilla.

She styled her glossy golden tresses loosely in a straight fashion and opted for a bold touch of red lipstick for the occasion.
Megan was joined by Camilla, who sported a pinstripe navy suit, made up of a smart blazer and a midi skirt.
Megan also took to Instagram to give an insight into her visit to Buckingham Palace, sharing a picture of her formal invitation to the event.
It read: ‘The Master of the Household has received Her Majesty’s command to invite Ms Megan Barton Hanson to a Reception to be given at Buckingham Palace by The Queen Consort President of WOW – Women of the World Festival to mark International Women’s Day on Wednesday, 8th March, 2023 at 1.00pm.’
Alongside the picture, Megan added: ‘Happy International Women’s Day to all my strong, brave, empowered ladies. Today is for us to celebrate each other and everything we have achieved and overcome.’
The reception comes days ahead of the WOW Festival kicking off for its 13th year on Friday with an array of interesting talks at London’s Southbank Centre.
The festival is set to run through until Sunday and will see Roxane Gay speak, as well as having workshops, dozens of talks and performances on offer.

International Women’s Day: Megan has links with the WOW Festival and is set to speak on its opening day on Friday at a talk titled Feminist with Fillers? at The Clore Ballroom
A description for the talk reads: ‘In this session we ask if fillers are anti-feminist or can you be feminist and get the odd tweakment?
‘Have years of scowling at gender inequity left you with wrinkles? Are fillers anti-feminist or can you be feminist and get the odd tweakment? Botox and fillers are lines many feminists won’t cross, but why? And is that changing?
‘Our panel discuss why some might think improving your self esteem is a feminist issue and why others think it’s just the latest trick in the patriarchal playbook! Join us for a light hearted discussion on ageing with – or without – injectables.’
Queen Consort Camilla became president of the WOW festival in 2015, which raises awareness about issues that prevent women and girls from achieving their potential.
Speaking at Wednesday’s reception, CEO and founder Jude Kelly said: ‘Many of you in this room are representing and speaking for those people who can’t be here and are silenced.’
The Queen Consort raised her hand when Jude asked the audience whether they believed that ‘one day there will be gender equality’.
She added: ‘The girls in Iran are depending on it, the women of Afghanistan are depending on it, all over the world people are depending on other people having dreams on their behalf and making sure we go forward. ‘
She praised the Queen Consort for her support for WOW and ‘fighting the good fight, dreaming the good dream and being kind to yourself as well as everybody else’.
Also in attendance at the Buckingham Palace reception was Happy Valley star Sarah Lancashire, who looked starstruck as she met Camilla.
Other famous faces present included former ballerina Darcey Bussell, presenter Fiona Bruce, politician Penny Mordaunt, the Prime Minister’s wife, Akshata Murty, and actress Rose Ayling-Ellis, who became the first deaf competitor on Strictly Come Dancing.
A video of the meeting between Sarah and the Queen Consort, posted on Twitter by the Daily Mail’s Rebecca English, showed Sarah looking poised with her thick blonde locks swept into a low bun as she waited to meet Camilla.
She appeared to be standing next to Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, who returned to the UK last year after being imprisoned in Iran since 2016.

When Sarah turn came to meet Camilla, she beamed, shook her hand and curtseyed and exclaimed: ‘I’m so excited to meet you!’
Chuckling, she added: ‘I’m so delighted’ as the Queen Consort chatted to her.
And it appears Camilla is just as big a fan of hers, as she asked a question that appeared to be about Happy Valley to which the actress replied: ‘Well, there’s no season four.’
Happy Valley concluded last month and followed Sarah’s character Catherine Cawood as she navigated bringing up her grandson Ryan while keeping him away from the clutches of his rapist and murderer father, Tommy Lee Royce.
