Shooting outside Woolworths leaves one person seriously wounded as cops hunt gunman

An  alleged shooting in broad daylight outside a suburban Sydney Woolworths supermarket has left one man injured. 

A police operation is ongoing at the Woolworths on Bunnerong Road in Matraville in the city’s south east with paramedics and four police cars on the scene.

Emergency services were called about 4.30pm and at least one man, believed to be in his 20s, is being treated in St Vincent’s Hospital after he was shot in the leg.
