Three people have been killed in a horror car crash with a 13-year-old boy charged over their deaths after he allegedly stole a Mercedes Benz.
The Mercedes allegedly slammed into the back of a Holden, which then collided into a Mazda, on Saltwater Creek Road at Maryborough, four hours north of Brisbane, in Queensland, at 11pm on Sunday.
Two of the Holden’s passengers – a 29-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl – died at the scene, as did the 52-year-old female Mazda driver.
A 23-year-old woman who was badly injured in the Holden is in a critical condition and has been taken to Royal Brisbane Women’s Hospital.

Police allege the Mercedes Benz had been stolen just hours earlier at 8.40pm.
A passenger of the Mercedes is understood to have fled the scene.
The driver of the Mercedes Benz suffered minor injuries to his foot.
A 13-year-old boy was charged with three counts of dangerous operation of motor vehicle causing death and one count of unlawful use of a motor vehicle.
He will appear before Maroochydore Children’s Court at a later date.
Detectives have launched an investigation into the matter.
