Marcus Rashford MISSES OUT on Man United’s trip to Fulham due to injury while Raphael Varane is benched for Jonny Evans AGAIN despite criticism of Erik ten Hag for leaving him out against Man City

Marcus Rashford will not play for Manchester United against Fulham today due to injury, while Raphael Varane is on the bench for Jonny Evans again.

The forward did not train yesterday and underwent a fitness test ahead of today’s match but has been excluded from the squad.

Erik ten Hag was criticised for leaving Varane out of the starting 11 against Manchester City for a ‘tactical’ reason but the defender does not start today either.

United have conceded six in their last two games without the Frenchman at the heart of the defence and many fans could not understand why he was left out of the derby.

With eight losses in 15 games, it has been their worst start to a season since 1962/63.
