
Man is arrested in hunt for serial sex attacker after NINE assaults are reported in the same park over just five hours

A 27-year-old man has been arrested after nine assaults were reported in the space of five hours at a city park.
South Wales Police said the attacks took place between 8am and 1pm in and around Singleton Park in Swansea, on Friday.
On Sunday, police said a local man had been arrested and was now in custody.

Detective Inspector Peter Collins said: ‘We are thankful for the support we have received from the local community so far and I would appeal if anyone has any information that they have not yet shared with us please do so now.’
The force had previously released a picture of a cyclist in a hoodie who they believed could help with inquiries.
They had also appealed for witnesses who were in the park at the time and who may have been able to assist.
A 24-year-old man was arrested on Friday, but released with no further action.
