‘There’s that tension already and then she is saying she’s two-faced.’

She went on: ‘And I was picking up on little things and going, ‘Mmm there’s something… there’s an underlying storyline there that we don’t know yet’.’

Sunday night of Love island saw Zara and Olivia get into a fiery fight after a heated game of Never Have I Ever.

Tensions reached a fever pitch during the episode of the reality dating show where Zara, 25, shouts at Olivia, 27, to ‘get over herself’.

A ‘secret chat’ between Olivia and Tom left Zara feeling concerned when Olivia wouldn’t reveal the context of their conversation.

Olivia was paired up with bombshell Tom before Zara entered the villa and caught the attention of the semi-professional footballer.

During Sunday’s episode, Zara confided in Olivia that he had told her he was more into her than Olivia, leading to a frosty response from the actress.

However following the chat, Olivia hinted to Zara that Tom may not be as set on her as she originally thought.

When Zara asked what they spoke about, Olivia laughed and admits she doesn’t want to discuss their ‘private’ conversation with her.

Zara asked: ‘What was that? What was that? I just wondered what the conversation was about, the context.’

Olivia laughed and said: ‘Oh it’s erm, private.’

Zara replied: ‘Private? Well I like to be open in here so can I ask what it was about?’

Olivia said back: ‘Okay, well I like to be private if that’s okay?’, before shooting a look to a grinning Lana Jenkins.

Zara told her: ‘Oh okay, things will come out eventually Liv so…’ to which Olivia said: ‘It’s not about you, it’s about me and him.’

Upset: Olivia was seen storming off in tears and declaring: 'She's such a b****' while Zara branded her 'childish'

Zara said back: ‘No I know, but I’m in a couple with him so it does kinda like concern me a bit.’

Olivia then asked Zara: ‘Are you married?’ to which Zara said: ‘I’m here to find someone Liv, I am here to find someone and at the minute, I really see something… I see a future with him, so yeah.’

Olivia then snapped: ‘I see you’re playing a game,’ and Zara responded: ‘Playing a game how, bruv?’

Zara didn’t mince her words as she told her co-star: ‘I’m here for myself, do you think I flew 11 hours from England to pi** you off.’

‘Get over yourself Liv, get over yourself,’ she continued.

Baffled fans have questioned the tension between the pair and suggested producers have edited something out or even claimed they could be ‘faking it’.

It was reported last week that the two Islanders already knew each other prior to their time on the show and have been liking and commenting on each other’s Instagram snaps for years.

The news has led viewers to believe that their row began prior to Zara’s arrival in the villa or that they had planned the fallout in order to garner airtime.

‘The last one from Zara to Olivia was just in October.’

Another quipped: ‘I want Zara and Olivia to explain the fact they knew each other on the outside – why didn’t they mention it.’

One other chimed in: ‘I still can’t decide whether Olivia and Zara are arguing because they’re friends on the outside and just want screen time or if they are truly arguing.’

A different person agreed and said: ‘Olivia really hates Zara man, there’s 100% beef on the outside with these two, not to mention Tom is literally a dry sponge don’t know what the fuss is about #love island.’

Another viewer thought the drama was ‘boring’, adding: ‘Esp since we know they know each other. Sort it out on your own time. Also, Olivia is projecting a lot.’

Old pals: Eagle-eyed Love Island fans have uncovered that Zara Lackenby-Brown and Olivia Hawkins knew each other before entering the villa

On Friday it was revealed Zara and Olivia knew each other before entering the villa and have accused them of working together to ‘play up to the cameras.’

They are both performers working within the dance, acting and modelling industry and have been liking and commenting on each other’s Instagrams for three years.

As Islanders have to keep their social media profiles dormant when in the villa , the interactions will have taken place before their identities were released to the public.

A source told MailOnline: ‘They’ve crossed paths socially but that’s the extent of it.’
