Lorraine Kelly is left red-faced over Gwyneth Paltrow’s sexy Valentine’s Day gifts as she cringes at Goop’s £196 14-karat-gold plated handcuffs

Gwyneth Paltrow’s controversial and very lavish Goop products are well-known to cause a divide.

And Lorraine Kelly was no exception as she shared her reaction when Hollywood reporter Ross King, 61, appeared on her show on Wednesday to advertise some unique Valentine’s Day gifts.

Lorraine was left red-faced after she was shown an array of raunchy gifts, including Goop’s $250 (£196) 14-karat-gold plated handcuffs used to ‘explore power and restraint’.

When host Lorraine, who has been left outraged by Gwyneth’s products in the past, was asked if she would be interested in a pair, she giggled and said ‘no’.

She was left cringing over the racy Valentine’s products and branded the gifts as ‘mental’ as she made her feelings very clear.

Lorraine was left looking less than impressed when Ross then discussed another product – a bath bomb containing aphrodisiac ingredients.

Tucking her neck into her shoulders, the TV star squeezed her eyes shut and pulled out her tongue aggressively as she recoiled over the products.

Back in 2020, Lorraine also shared her embarrassment over Goop’s products when Ross revealed what was included in the lavish brand’s Christmas gift guide.

The range – which included toilet paper costing £26, a lamp made out of bread and the now-famous vagina scented candle – prompted quite an outburst from Lorraine.

Mocking the items, she said at the time: ‘Honestly! You can get sustainable bog roll a lot cheaper than that! I don’t want a lamp made of bread – though I suppose it would be handy if you wanted a snack.’

Goop’s new ‘Lover’s Gift Guide’ for Valentines Day features more unique and intimate presents, including a Eye Die 4 U Ring, priced at an eye-watering $14,490, as well as relationship Status cocktail napkins, a $1,250 gold vibrator, $250 handcuffs, and $55 ‘sex oil’.

Some other risqué items on her list were the ‘his and hers’ vibrator set by We-Vibe for $199 and a $219 device from the brand Womanizer that ‘uses air pressure to create a sucking sensation that feels like oral sex’.

In total, the guide included 103 items, ranging from pricey jewelry, makeup, and beauty products to lavish home goods, furniture, and even stays in five-star hotels that cost close to $100,000.

Gwyneth recommended a vacation to the Sheldon Chalet in Denali National Park, Alaska, which costs $97,000 for three nights, or a trip to the Buahan Tree Escape resort in Bali, Indonesia, for $1,240 a night.

Some of the other more expensive items that made her list includes Eight Sleep’s Pod 3 bed cooling system, which is priced at $2,095, Higherdose’s $7,999 infrared sauna, LYMA’s Laster Starter Kit for $2,695, and Jenna Blake’s Morse Code bracelet which is priced at $14,800.

Gwyneth also included a beginners oyster shucking kit for $115, a DIY martini making kit for $70, and an 80-minute couples reading from acclaimed psychic Kathy Fitz.

Some of the more affordable options include Too Faced’s Naturally Better Than Sex mascara for $30, Kate McLeod’s Heart Shaped Body Stone moisturizing bar for $38, and Goop x Prima’s $15 Sex Gem Bath Soak for Sensual Pleasure and Awakening.
