Liverpool teen sensation Ben Doak COLLAPSES during UEFA Youth League clash with Sporting Lisbon as medics attend to Scotland under-21 after a frightening clash of heads

  • He initially managed to stay on his feet before collapsing to the ground

Liverpool youngster Ben Doak sparked worrying scenes in Liverpool’s latest UEFA Youth League game after collapsing on the pitch.

Doak, 17, fell to the floor after jumping for a header with a Sporting player having initially managing to stay on his feet.

Medics ran onto the field to help the Liverpool man as the referee stopped play.

He eventually made it back to his feet but was substituted immediately.

The event cam just eight minutes into the match, in which Rodrigo Ribeiro scored the opening goal of the game after 65 minutes.

Doak stumbled a few steps after the challenge before his collapse.

He was attended to by several medics as players from both sides watched on nervously.

It appeared the two players clashed heads as they challenged for the ball in the air, though the Sporting player was unharmed.
