Latin Grammys 2022: Rosalía poses with her FOUR awards


Rosalía wowed in a gold thigh-split gown as she posed at the Latin Grammys 2022 with her four awards including the coveted Album of the Year gong on Thursday. 

The star, 30, became the first woman to win twice for album of the year with Motomami, her third studio album – after picking up the award in 2019 too for El Mal Querer.

Barcelona-native Rosalía looked incredibly proud as she held her awards on the red carpet and looked amazing in her glitzy off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown.

She completed her look with strappy black heels to boost her height and sported a wet-hair look and glamorous makeup.   

Her other gongs were for Best Alternative Music Album, Best Recording Package and Best Urban Fusion/Performance.

She was nominated for a whopping eight awards on the night.

Elsewhere Bad Bunny, who was not in attendance, won five Latin Grammys Thursday including for best urban music album for Un Verano Sin Ti.

Also at the show Cuban singer-songwriter Angela Alvarez, 95, won Best New Artist.

Marco Antonio Solís was honored with the 2022 Latin Recording Academy Award for Person of the Year. 

Rosalía also performed at the event earlier in the night where she wore a black latex cat suit and dark shades.

Elsewhere Christina Aguilera came into the evening as one of the night’s most-nominated artists with seven nominations. 

Her nominations included Album Of The Year for her ninth studio album Aguilera, which is her first Latin album in over 20 years. 

She went on to win the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album award during the ceremony.

21 years earlier, Aguilera won her first Latin Grammy Award for Best Female Pop Vocal Album for her first Spanish-language studio album, Mi Reflejo (2001).

Released back in late May, Aguilera pays tribute her Latin-American heritage, while dealing with themes of empowerment, vulnerability, and healing.

In all, the album has produced five singles, which also includes Pa Mis Muchachas, Somos Nada and Santo.

Her Aguilera album also received two nominations for the 65th Annual Grammy Awards, including Best Latin Pop Album and Best Immersive Audio Album.
