If she was asked her iconic ‘where the bloody hell are you?’ line, Lara Worthington might now answer ‘inside the Matrix.’

The model, 36, made a fashionably dramatic entrance into Brisbane International Airport on Tuesday.

Strutting out into the arrivals area, she cut a sleek figure in a black leather trench coat with a matching belt cinched at the waist.

Her straightened hair in a bob added to the Matrix-movie look, as did the black statement sunglasses she carried and the oversized headphones she wore around her neck.

But the hardcore leather look contrasted with her fresh, smiling, no doubt happy to be home after an overseas trip.

Arriving without her children or actor husband Sam Worthington, 46, Lara wheeled out a trolley stacked with so much luggage she had to get help from her limo driver to wheel the suitcases out of the airport.

Despite looking incredibly youthful, in an interview last October Lara said she wants to embrace getting older.

‘I want to embrace ageing. I just love exploring new ways to look after your body,’ she told Body+Soul Magazine.

‘I think getting that balance is always going to be really important. I look up to lots of women, like Lauren Hutton, like Meryl Streep. Susan Sarandon is another one.

‘I think it’s nice that the world we live in now has role models like that, who are beautiful and inspiring, you know?’

The model rose to fame after appearing in the 2006 Tourism Australia campaign So Where The Bloody Hell Are You? And in 2012 she had her own reality show with Network 10 called Being Lara Bingle.

She was famously engaged to cricketer Michael Clarke, but later found love with Avatar star Sam, who she has been with for over 10 years.

The couple, who married in 2014, share three children together, Rocket, eight, Racer, seven and River, three.
