She’s gearing up to return to Australia after three decades living in the United Kingdom. 

And Kylie Minogue seemed to be easing herself back into life by the beach as she enjoyed a sunsoaked day by the shore in Athens, Greece with a male companion on Thursday. 

The 53-year-old singer looked phenomenal as she slipped herself into a skimpy black swimsuit that put her toned figure on display.

The garment featured a sweetheart neckline and racer straps, with high cut detailing accentuating her toned and petite pins. The Australian beauty protected herself from the sun with a black baseball cap and a pair of shades. 

The Can’t Get You Out of My Head hitmaker seemed in great spirits as she frolicked in the ocean, waving her arms in the air and demonstrating her impressive flexibility by pulling her leg out of the sea. 

Kylie was joined on the trip by a male friend, with the pair seen enjoying a dip in the ocean together before toweling off on the sand.

Kylie, who has lived in the UK since 1990, has not made clear when exactly she plans on moving home to Australia.

The star, known for her hits Spinning Around and Can’t Get You Out of My Head, was born in Melbourne.

When asked about rumours she was returning to her home country permanently, Kylie told BBC Radio 2: ‘It is true, I will be basing myself in Australia. I can’t believe the reaction it’s had. I’ve had friends call me.’

Kylie reassured Brits she ‘won’t be a stranger’ and will still visit regularly. ‘Of course I’ve lived here for 30 years. I’m always going to be back,’ she said.

While she didn’t confirm where exactly she plans to live, she will most likely settle in Melbourne – the city where she was born and where her family reside.

Kylie told friends she wanted to live closer to her family, including her parents Carol and Ron, siblings Brendan and Dannii and nephew Ethan.

Her boyfriend, magazine executive Paul Solomons, won’t be joining her in Australia, but they intend to continue a long-distance relationship, according to The Sun.

‘Right now, Kylie has made the decision to move back to Australia and while Paul doesn’t want to relocate, they are still very much together and in love,’ a source said.

‘Of course she will be back in the UK from time to time and he will visit Melbourne. They are going to make it work.’

The couple have been going from strength to strength since they first laid eyes on each other when they were introduced through mutual friends in February 2018.

Kylie met Paul – who works as GQ magazine’s creative director – following the breakdown of her relationship with Joshua Sasse. 

The singer and her actor ex-fiancé Joshua, now 32, announced their split in February 2017 after three years together.

At the time, unconfirmed reports claimed the singer booted the British actor out of her West London home after he grew too close to Spanish actress Marta Milans, 35.

After their split the songstress, who said she felt ‘broken at the time, took herself to Thailand to ‘heal’ herself.

In a candid interview with The Sunday Times, Kylie revealed that she came to the conclusion it ‘wasn’t the right union’.

Kylie and her Paul confirmed their romance last year and the singer has been very open about the relationship, once saying she had ‘found her man.’

Kylie recently told The Mirror: ‘Who says you can’t be soppy and romantic later in life? Particularly when you find a good and true love.

She added: ‘We’re learning about each other’s worlds, of course there’s a part of his profession that crosses over to mine. I really just don’t want to say too much. He’s a great, great guy. We’re just doing our thing’. 

Kylie’s most recent visit Down Under was in March when she performed at the state funeral of Australian music executive Michael Gudinski in Melbourne.

She has since listed two office properties on Hawthorn’s Church Street, which have been owned by the Minogue family since 2007, for a whopping $20million.

Born in Melbourne on May 28, 1968, Kylie began her career on Australian soap opera Neighbours, playing Charlene Robinson, before becoming a singer.

She has lived in Britain since 1990, and was appointed an Officer of the Order of the British Empire in the 2008 New Year Honours for services to music.
