The Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville takes center stage on Saturday afternoon.

Former President Donald Trump was in attendance to see 80-1 shot Rich Strike land the first of the famous Triple Crown races last year.

The horses are being put through their paces this week while around 150,000 fans, dressed to the nines, are set to descend on the highly-anticipated event. 

The show gets underway on Friday but all eyes will be on the track at 6.57pm for the $3million race Saturday.

NBC will be broadcasting live coverage of the Kentucky Derby with the horse racing event streamed on Peacock, starting at 12pm ET on Saturday.

The Kentucky Oaks will also be shown on the same platforms on Friday, May 5, starting at 1pm ET.
