Kanye West has jetted to London with his daughter North, seven, weeks after he claimed that he and his wife Kim Kardashian considered having an abortion when she was pregnant with her during a chaotic presidential rally.
The rapper, 43, made a bold statement as he and his eldest child stepped out in ‘Vote Kanye’ hoodies on Friday night as they arrived at the Bottega Veneta’s fashion show.
Back in July, Kanye left Kim, 39, and his family alarmed when he revealed they had considered aborting North before he got a ‘message from God’ during an unscripted speech at his first presidential rally at North Charleston’s Exquis Event Center in South Carolina.

The pair appeared to have jetted to London without Kim, but as she is set to launch her SKIMS bodywear line in the U.K, it is possibly she will join them later.
Kanye used their fashion show appearance as an opportunity to help aid his presidential bid with the pair arriving in ‘Vote Kanye’ merchandise hoodies.
Also seen attending the glamorous evening showcase at Sadler’s Wells Theatre was model Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and fellow rappers Stormzy and Skepta.
Kanye kept things casual in his black jumper and a pair of camouflage trousers, which the star tucked into a pair of brown leather boots. North meanwhile, donned fluffy tracksuit bottoms and a pair of her dad’s own Yeezy croc shoes.

Matching: The father and daughter duo both donned the merchandise and face masks
Outfit change: Kanye was also seen rocking some leather trousers and a vibrant blue t-shirt at the event
They both wore face masks as they arrived – with Kanye opting for a black one while North donned a cream coloured covering.
After enjoying the show, Kanye and North headed over to Selfridges to show their support for Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS collection which is launching at the department store.
In a short clip shared to Kim’s Instagram, the father and daughter duo could be seen inspecting the mannequins and products already set up in the store.
Kanye announced in July he was running for president as an Independent in a self-funded campaign.
By late summer, according to the documents obtained by Business Insider, he had spent $6.7 million that he loaned his campaign.
During this time, the rapper sparked concern from fans after he emotionally revealed that he and Kim wanted to have an abortion when she was pregnant with daughter North, but God came to him and told him it was not right.

Support: North wore a matching hoodie to her fathers with the words ‘Vote Kanye’ emblazoned across the front
In a rambling, unscripted speech to supporters, he focused frequently on the topic of abortion, saying that in 2013 Kim ‘had the pills in her hand’ to have an abortion before he was inspired by God to have the child.
‘My girlfriend called me screaming, crying. I’m a rapper. And she said I’m pregnant. She was crying,’ he said.
Kanye said he was weighing up what to do, when he received what he interpreted as a sign from God while he was working on his laptop in Paris.
London calling: The family have recently enjoyed a break away to the Dominican Republic, which is not currently on the UK government’s travel corridor list of countries
‘My screen went black and white. And God said, if you f*** with my vision I f*** with yours,’ he yelled. ‘And I called my girlfriend and said we’re going to have this child.
‘Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into this world, when I did not want to.’
The rapper went on to break down in tears as he shouted: ‘She had the pills in her hand! I almost killed my daughter!’
Kanye also revealed that his father wanted to abort him but his mother Donda ‘saved his life’.
‘Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into this world, when I did not want to,’ he said.
Picked up: Kanye and North were later seen being picked up by a chauffeur driven car after their night in the capital
Following his speech, the rapper then went on to launch two Twitter tirades in which he insisted he has been trying to divorce Kim for two years and accused her of ‘trying to lock him up’.
Kanye has been open about his struggle with bipolar disorder and, in 2016, he spent time in hospital after a ‘psychiatric emergency’ that forced him to cancel 21 concert dates and Kim later spoke out in defence of Kanye.

KANYE’S CHAOTIC RALLY SPEECH
On how he nearly aborted his daughter:
‘My girlfriend called me screaming, crying. I’m a rapper. And she said I’m pregnant. She was crying.
‘My (laptop) screen went black and white. And God said, if you f*** with my vision I f*** with yours. And I called my girlfriend and said we’re going to have this child.
‘We talked about her not having this child. She had the pills in her hand! I almost killed my daughter!
‘Even if my wife were to divorce me after this speech, she brought North into this world, when I did not want to.’
How he was nearly aborted by his parents:
‘My dad wanted to abort me. My mom saved my life. There would’ve been no Kanye West because my dad was too busy.’
‘Abortion should be legal but the option of maximum increase should be available.
‘Everybody who has a baby gets a million dollars or something.
‘No more Plan B – Plan A.
‘It takes a village to raise a child. No matter how much money you have. Society is set up for single women to not have a village.’
Claims Harriet Tubman didn’t free slaves:
‘Harriet Tubman never actually freed the slaves, she just had the slaves go work for other white people.’
‘When other countries come in, and you have no weapons, what do you think will happen?’
‘You’re enslaved. Guns don’t kill people; people kill people.’
He said he wanted to be on the board of both Adidas and Gap – for whom he designs clothes. He said black culture was exploited by white-owned companies all too often.
‘I am sick of this black iconography being used by white corporations, for us to look up to and say this is us.’
Other key quotes from his speech:
‘I don’t give a f*** if I win the presidency or not.
‘There are homeless people in front of the Gucci store. I care about these things. And I am in service of God.’
‘Politics, America, Trump, Biden, nor Kanye West can free us. ‘The only thing that can free us is obeying the rules that were given to us as a promised land.’
She wrote on social media: ‘As many of you know, Kanye has bi-polar disorder. Anyone who has this or has a loved one in their life who does, knows how incredibly complicated and painful it is to understand. I’ve never spoken publicly about how this has affected us at home because I am very protective of our children and Kanye’s right to privacy when it comes to his health.
‘But today, I feel like I should comment on it because of the stigma and misconceptions about mental health. Those that understand mental illness or even compulsive behaviour know that the family is powerless unless the member is a minor.
‘People who are unaware or far removed from this experience can be judgmental and not understand that the individual themselves have to engage in the process of getting help no matter how hard family and friends try.’
The ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians star described Kanye as a ‘brilliant but complicated person’, and said his bipolar disorder has heightened the ‘pressure and isolation’ he already feels as a public figure.
She added: ‘I understand Kanye is subject to criticism because he is a public figure and his actions at times can cause strong opinions and emotions. He is a brilliant but complicated person who, on top of the pressures of being an artist and a Black man, who experienced the painful loss of his mother and has to deal with the pressure and isolation that is heightened by his bi-polar disorder.’
Kanye has failed to make the ballot in most US states and the District of Columbia. Kanye has made it onto the ballot for 12 states including Kentucky, where he allegedly spent $400k to get the necessary signatures, and in Iowa, after reportedly paying $80k.
The rapper’s appearance at the show comes after he enjoyed a holiday to the Dominican Republic with wife Kim Kardashian and their four children – North, Saint, Chicago and Psalm.
Kim shared sun-soaked snaps from the getaway on Instagram earlier this week, revealing that the family had enjoyed some quality time together.
Currently visitors going to the Dominican Republic have to self-declare if they have COVID-19 symptoms and may have to take a rapid diagnostic test.
Travellers also have to provide journey and contact details before they travel to the UK. The Dominican Republic is not currently on the UK government’s travel corridors list suggesting that arrivals should have to isolate.
It is also thought that the family jetted into the UK from their home in Los Angeles. America is also not on the travel corridors list, meaning visitors would usually have to quarantine for 14 days and fill out a passenger locator form.
This is the case for the majority of destinations around the world, with only a handful currently being exempt from advice against ‘all but essential’ international travel.
MailOnline has contacted both Kim and Kanye’s representatives for comment.
