Katharine McPhee confirmed last month that she and husband David Foster are pregnant with her first child.

And the American Idol alum appears to be mastering the art of maternity style during her pregnancy.

She wrapped her baby bump in a green knit button-down skirt, featuring a thigh-high slit that showed off her legs in knee-high tan suede boots, as she stepped out Friday for dinner at Giorgio Baldi in Santa Monica.

The 36-year-old complemented the look in a black top, which was layered with a thick olive raincoat.

The reported Republican Party donor completed the look with gold hoop earrings, matching necklaces and a pink floral face mask, while carrying a cognac alligator-skin handbag and a to-go bag.

McPhee personally confirmed her pregnancy last month in a subtle way, taking to her Instagram Story with a gift from Italian aperitif brand Aperol.

She said in the unboxing video: ‘I won’t be drinking this for a while. Wink, wink. But I’m so excited.’

It came just days after a source told People that she and Foster, 71, were expecting their first child together.

Another insider told Us Weekly in August, that the couple was ‘definitely trying’ for a baby, and his daughters ‘fully expect [McPhee] to have a child and fully support it.’

Foster has five daughters from previous relationships, including Allison, 50, Amy, 47, Sara, 39, Erin, 38, and Jordan, 34.
