During a concert in Mexico last week, the Love Yourself  artist shed tears on stage two days after the tragic shooting in Uvalde, Texas. 19 fourth graders and two adults were killed by a gunman who attacked them at their elementary school.

The multi-talented musician shared that touching moment on Instagram, writing ‘Tears fill my eyes with hope for humanity.’

Later he told the sold out crowd, ‘Everybody is equal. In this world, there’s a lot of division and a lot of racial injustice, but we get to be the difference makers. ‘We get to stand together and unite and celebrate amongst one another because we are all the same.’
