Australian singer Jason Owen and his new wife Becy will soon be welcoming a baby girl together. 

Jason shared the happy news with Daily Mail Australia this week via a sweet gender reveal video. 

Former X Factor star Jason, 27, can be seen cheering as pink confetti pours from a balloon.

In the clip, Becy, who is around three months along, shows off a glimpse of her baby bump.

‘We’re very excited, thanks for all your incredible messages,’ Jason said in the clip. 

‘Is it going to be a girl or a boy? We’re going to find out right now, here we go, are you ready? It’s a girl!’ he added.

Jason told Daily Mail Australia this week how thrilled he and Becy are to welcome their daughter in March.   

‘After so long trying, and all the uncertainties of the last few years with Covid-19, we’re just so thrilled to have our little one to look forward to,’ he said. 

He sweetly added: ‘I’ve already started singing to her in the womb, but not sure if she can hear me that well!’

Earlier this month on Father’s Day, the couple confirmed their baby news to Daily Mail Australia after trying o get pregnant for three years. 

Jason said the pregnancy was completely unexpected, and occurred when the duo were on their honeymoon in the Whitsundays, Queensland.

‘We have been trying for the last three years for a baby as we wanted to be young parents, and had no luck – so we were very surprised to conceive on our honeymoon in June,’ he said.

‘We had even talked about visiting a fertility specialist to check things out if nothing happened this year.’

The pair tied the knot in an intimate country wedding in June, in Albert, NSW, in front of 120 guests.   

Jason first rose to fame on The X Factor Australia back in 2012.

After finishing as a runner-up on the series, Jason went on to release his debut album Life Is A Highway, featuring 10 classic covers of tracks he grew up listening to.

He recently celebrated the release of the album Jason Owens Sings John Denver: The Acoustic Sessions.
