She explained in a VT: ‘I was on holiday in Greece and I leant back on a balcony and fell to the ground.

‘I was airlifted to Athens and it was the most terrifying experience of my life. So I will have an issue with the climbing to be able to trust the rope and lean back with my weight on it.’

Meanwhile in the men’s speed climbing event Wes continued his winning streak, beating Josh Herdman to the title in a very tight race.

During the final the women also competed in the weight lifting event, with Rebecca Sarker winning even after being given a foul in her first round.

Clearly thrilled she said after the event: ‘I’m astounded, I did know I could do it, I am small but I am mighty!’

The Games has been on nightly this week until Friday when the final took place, with the 12 contestants battling it out in a series of challenges.

It comes after weeks of gruelling training, which saw the celebrities be put through their paces in the intense preparation.

All have been pulled out of their comfort zones to be coached as athletes, swimmers and cyclists, to compete in the hope of coming top of the medals table and being crowned the winners.

Hosted live by Holly Willoughby and Freddie Flintoff, The Games also featured former professional football player and presenter Chris Kamara as commentator.

Through the sporting challenges, celebrities racked up points on the medals table as they went head-to-head to reach the top.

As the leader board took shape with each night, the series culminated in an exhilarating final showdown in which one male champion and one female champion were crowned.
