Who has Ruth Wilson been linked with in the past?
In 2011, Ruth, then 29, was romantically linked to actor Jude Law after the pair appeared in the same stage adaptation of Anna Christie.
While the co-stars were rumoured to have kissed during a night out at London’s Groucho Club, neither confirmed the relationship.
Early in 2012, the two were spotted together stateside as they went for a walk in Venice Beach, Los Angeles.
Over a decade on, they seem to still get along, appearing at 2021’s BFI London Film Festival together after collaborating on the movie True Things.

A few years later in 2015, Ruth was rumoured to be dating Jake Gyllenhaal as they co-starred in the Broadway play Constellations.
Murmurs of their romance began after they were reportedly seen kissing and holding hands at a Golden Globes after-party, as well as an E! News report that they had been spotted kissing after a workout.
However, Ruth all-but shut down the rumours in an interview with ABC News at the time, saying: ‘He’s adorable, a really good guy. We’ve become like brother and sister a little bit.’
In 2016 she revealed her annoyance at being linked to her colleagues like Jude and Jake.
She told the Evening Standard: ‘I doubt any of the actors I have been linked to have been asked about working with me. I do find it a little bit offensive.’

Is Ruth Wilson married?
Despite she and her partner being together for a long time, Ruth has no plan to be walking down the aisle anytime soon, and has told Marie Claire magazine ‘I hate the thought of walking down the aisle in a white dress – I think it’s just a horrible idea.
‘And I’m just not that excited by the idea of a wedding day, or of a ring on my finger. I’m not even interested in jewellery.’
She also told G2: ‘I don’t believe in institutions. I believe in connections, I’ve got a very strong relationship and have had for a number of years.
‘I believe the value of having someone in your life who understands you and sees you is enormous. And I’m so glad I have it.’
She also laughed off the idea that her aversion to marriage is some result of her grandfather’s polygamy.
Ruth joked: ‘Yeah it’s genetics. You know, my grandfather died before I was even born and my parents have a great marriage. It must have skipped a generation.’
Alexander Wilson’s other lives were only discovered by Ruth’s grandmother after he had died, as the actress depicted in Mrs Wilson in 2018.
Does Ruth Wilson have children?
Ruth has waxed lyrical about her family life as the youngest of four children, with three brothers.

‘I have lots of nieces and nephews, so I have lots of kids in my life and I love kids. It’s just that… it changes your life entirely. So yes, I think about it a lot.’
