Ryan Mallett’s girlfriend Madison Carter recently shared an emotional tribute for her departed partner – a month on from his tragic death.
The former NFL quarterback passed away on June 27 after drowning in the Gulf of Mexico while on vacation with Carter in Destin, Florida.
A funeral was held in his native Arkansas on July 6 was well attended by a number of former coaches and teammates and members of the local community.
Naturally, the passing of the 35-year-old has been traumatic for Carter — who has posted several tributes to Mallett since his untimely death.
Last week, Carter posted a photo of a her wrist, which has a tattoo of the No. 15 – Mallett’s jersey number while in the NFL and during his college career at Arkansas.

‘One month. You’ll always be with me, one-five. A constant reminder to be more like you every day,’ Carter wrote Friday.
‘You lived every day to the fullest. You loved LOUD. More importantly, you showed your love with your actions, even the smallest ones. If you wanted something, you went for it.
‘You said exactly what was on your mind. You were intentional. You gave a piece of yourself to everyone you met. You made every person feel special. You worked hard. You played harder.
‘You danced whenever you felt like it, no matter where you were. You saw the good in everyone. You wanted to be better every day. You never settled. You were honest. You were kind. You were special in every way. I love you. And I miss you every second!’
Mallett played in the NFL with the New England Patriots, Houston Texans and Baltimore Ravens.
Mallet was drafted in the third round of the 2011 Draft with the 74th overall pick by New England.
He backed up Tom Brady for two seasons before spending two seasons with the Texans before three with the Ravens, between 2015-17.
Mallett had more recently returned to Arkansas where he was the coach of the White Hall High School football team in 2022.
