Georgia destroy TCU in the college football playoff as Bulldogs win second-straight national title

Georgia Bulldogs destroy TCU 65-7 in the college football playoff as Horned Frogs’ Cinderella story comes to a crunching end behind stellar night for Stetson Bennett as Dawgs win back-to-back national titles

The Georgia Bulldogs breezed to its second National Championship in consecutive seasons with a blistering 65-7 win vs. the outmatched TCU Horned Frogs.

Georgia were a two-score favorite heading into the college football showpiece at SoFi Stadium, but defied expectations behind quarterback Stetson Bennett.

In his final game for his hometown school, Bennett threw four touchdowns from 18/25 passing for 304 yards.

Dawgs tight end Brock Bowers was equally dominant on the offensive end with seven catches for 152 yards and a touchdown.

For TCU, the Cinderella story of college football, this was a bridge too far. Early and often it was apparent the talent differential between the schools was insurmountable.

After the Horned Frogs closed the deficit to 10-7 late in the first, Georgia piled on 55 unanswered points before party time began in Los Angeles.
