
French Montana hit a bit of a snag when trying to come home from Colombia, as his private plane was searched for illegal drugs.
The 38-year-old Moroccan-American rapper (born Karim Kharbouch) was recently visiting the South American country on a private jet.
When he was trying to head back home, local authorities stopped him from leaving so they could conduct a thorough search of the plane for contraband.
He took to his Instagram and Instagram story to document the delay in several different videos.
‘Colombia, I love y’all, but y’all didn’t have to do me like this,’ he began in the video, before showing the plane being searched by Colombian authorities and dogs.

He zooms in on a drug-sniffing dog sniffing around the entrance to the plane, adding, ‘Y’all didn’t have to have the dogs in here like that.’
‘You know we Coke Boys but we ain’t Coke Boys for this,’ he added, referring to his own record label, Coke Boys Records.
‘Streets is so f***ed up, they thought I was bringing a big load. I know y’all see the strip clubs all f***ed up,’ he added, trying to get one of the drug-sniffing dogs to come to him.
‘They thought I was coming to save the streets, bringing a big load. They didn’t find that though so we good,’ he concluded in the first video.
He also shared a snap of him petting the drug-sniffing dog and another close-up of the dog’s collar that read simply, ‘Narcotics.’
Montana took to his Instagram story with another video, stating, ‘Ain’t this crazy, Colombia, it’s time to go, but I ain’t gonna lie, we trapped. We trapped here at the Clearport, just because we the Coke Boys. They got the dogs out for us.’
‘They ain’t letting the plane leave until they sure we ain’t leaving with no brick out of Colombia,’ he said.
He added that he hopes they, ‘make it home safe, but until then we’ll keep you posted. Colombia has been a great time.’

The next video began with Montana saying, ‘They got the dogs on the plane,’ as he took his phone into the plane to show it being searched by the authorities.
‘Still done got us trapped in here… look at the dogs,’ he says, while following the police and their dogs.
Another brief video showed the rapper and another friend being driven around in a rickshaw of sorts in the airplane hangar.
The next video showed him ‘brainstorming’ on how to get a number of exotic vehicles back home.
The final video showed Montana saying, ‘No substitute for hard work. Second jet tonight. L.A., we on the way. Miami, we love you. Colombia, we love you. See you on the next episode.’
